Demographic Profiles
These demographic profiles provide basic data concerning communities in St. Lawrence County. Each profile includes a four-page report (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3, and DP-4). Each profile is comparable to other demographic profiles in the county or across the country.
DP-1 contains previously released data on population, age cohorts, race, households by relationship and by type, housing occupancy and housing tenure.
JUST RELEASED are:
- DP-2 has data concerning school enrollment, educational attainment, marital status, Veteran status, disability status, nativity and place of birth, region of birth of foreign born, language spoken at home, and ancestry.
- DP-3 has data concerning employment, commuting to work, occupation, industry, class of worker, income in 1999 (households and families), per capita income, and poverty status.
- DP-4 has data concerning number of housing units, number of units in structures, year built, year householder moved in, vehicles available, heating fuel, occupants per room, value, mortgage status, monthly owner costs, gross rent.
