TRAFFIC REDUCTION INFORMATION
Applying for a reduction by mail:
If you received a traffic infraction (does not include DWI’s or misdemeanors), you may apply for a possible reduction by mail, by following the link below:

Applying for a reduction in-person:
In addition, the District Attorney’s Office will hold weekly office hours, where citizens seeking reductions for non-DWI traffic infractions can meet with a prosecutor on a walk-in basis.
Weekly Office Hours:
Mondays from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Wednesdays from 9:00am - 11:00am

Applicants MUST bring the following information in order to meet with an ADA:
1. A clear copy of each ticket (if not legible, may be obtained from the Court of appearance).
2. A current copy of your driving record (abstract) from local Department of Motor Vehicles. The abstract may also be obtained online at: http://dmv.ny.gov/transact.htm#records
3. If there was an accident, you must provide a copy of the accident report (MV-104a) which can be obtained from the police agency. Also include a letter from your insurance company stating all property/personal injury damages have been paid in full.
