Public Health Sanitarian Program

Program Goal

To address public health nuisance issues for residents of St. Lawrence County in conjunction with local Health Officers and local Code Enforcement Officers. To provide technical assistance to residents of St. Lawrence County in regard to their private water supply and sewage disposal system.
 

Eligibility

St. Lawrence County residents.
 

Description

• Nuisance Complaints
  Conducts investigations of public health nuisance complaints and submit written reports to Health Officers and Code Enforcement Officers.
   
• Private Water Supply
  Provides technical assistance and collects water samples upon request. [Fee charged for water testing]
   
• Private Sewage Disposal Systems
  Provides technical assistance and conducts evaluations upon request. [Fee charged for evaluations]
