Brief Description of Services:

To educate, advise and assist county government, local governments, local property owners, and the public in general, in the area of real property assessment administration. One of the most visible funtions is to provide updated tax maps on an annual basis to local town and village assessing units and the City of Ogdensburg. The office trains and assists local assessors in the annual preparation of assessment and tax rolls for towns, schools and villages. Corrections to tax rolls and bills are processed through this office.
 

Tax Rates Now Available!

The Office of Real Property & Tax Services is pleased to announce that Tax Rates have been added to the County Web site. These tax rate tables will be of special benefit to real estate appraisers, attorneys, and other persons who want or need to know how their taxes are computed. Tax rate tables are available for County and Town, School Districts, and Villages.

These tables are formatted as PDF documents. In order to view them, you will need Acrobat Reader, available for free from the Adobe web site.

 Grievance Dates for 2010  are now available for viewing.
