CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE (DAY CARE)

Brief Description of Services:  

Child Care Assistance is provided by the New York State Child Care Block Grant. Reimbursement may be available for the cost of child care while a parent or caretaker is working or attending school or college. Family income must be less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level to qualify. Child Care Providers must be Registered or Enrolled prior to reimbursement. Other regulations and requirements may apply. Eligibility determination can only be done after a completed application has been submitted.

2009 Poverty Level Figures (effective 06/01/2009)

Each additional member, add $3740.00 to Federal Poverty Level; $7480.00 to 200% Federal Poverty Level.
